WATER AS GOOD AS IT GETS
As we are all aware, water quality has made a bit of a splash in the media recently!
We at Cooks Beach Resort are rightly proud of our high water quality. We go to great lengths to ensure that the water you drink and cook with is of the highest standard possible.
To that end, we have invested in a state of the art water treatment plant. We make sure we have enough water and ensure that our water is safe to drink, shower and cook with from any tap in the resort.
The lime cliffs in our area provide natural filtration for the artesian reservoirs in Cooks Beach.
We operate a deep artesian well on site, pumping water to a primary tank, from where it is filtered through 4 sand filters before being allowed to settle in 3 large holding tanks.
Before being available throughout the resort, it is passed through 2 UV treatment units which remove all biological matter from the water. It is once more filtered through a 10 micron filter, removing any remaining trace elements. Only then will this unchlorinated, clean and clear water be available to all our guest from any tap in the resort.
